A light, elegant gemstone necklace created through the shared vision of two sisters.
This one-of-a-kind piece began with Kristina’s design of aquamarine, sapphire, and silver. As the necklace began to take shape, Kim saw another possibility—transforming the original idea into a graceful three-strand design. The result is a true Sun & Thread Sisters collaboration, bringing both sisters’ creative styles together in a single piece.
Three delicate gemstone strands fall at slightly different lengths, creating soft movement and dimension. Smooth approximately 4 mm aquamarine beads form one strand, while naturally varied approximately 3 mm faceted sapphires bring beautiful shades of blue, blue-gray, and deeper tones to another. A third, exceptionally delicate strand of approximately 1 mm faceted aquamarine adds a subtle shimmer.
Sterling silver and silver-tone metal alloy elements provide a cool, luminous finish that complements the watery blues of the natural gemstones. The necklace measures approximately 25–27 inches and is designed without a clasp, allowing it to slip easily over the head.
